Lady of the Lake Demo (v 1.1)

The game was updated to version 1.1. Several small issues were fixed, and the game was updated to greater reward beating the game solo. You will find a special reward after you beat the final boss if you beat the boss solo.

I tested out beating the game solo, which I knew was theoretically possible. We have not beat the regular game solo, but we were able to beat it when using a lot of the Special Edition & New Game Plus benefits. Some tips for beating the game solo:

• Vivian Solo: The regular story has a time lapse, and human allies are removed from your team at that point: Arthur, Guinevere, Merlin, and Lancelot. If monsters didn't join your team, you should be able to play the rest of the game with Vivian on her own.
• Merlin Solo: New Game Plus has an option to choose your team. If you only choose Merlin, you can play the entire game using only Merlin.
• Legendary items: After you beat the game, save your progress. Continue the game using the New Game Plus file. You can keep legendary items you find after you beat the game. This works for any equipment that is explicitly described as being legendary. Some other powerful items are also kept: Phoenix Feathers, Apples of Knowledge, Golden Apples, and Potions of Heroism. Some legendary equipment gives you extra actions every round, the power to overheal, or the power to deal damage beyond the damage limit. These in particular are very helpful for trying to beat the game solo. 
• Secret Spell Scroll: There's a secret legendary white magic spell scroll that can also help you beat the game solo when you are Merlin.
• Apples of Knowledge: New Game Plus also lets you keep your Apples of Knowledge, which gives you five skill points. Those are very helpful. If you have the Special Edition, you can also start the game with ten Apples of Knowledge.
• Important Abilities: Vivian can learn Limitless Power after she is upgraded to a wizard, which gives her the power ignore the damage limit. Her Mastery ability gives her an extra action every round, which is also helpful. Merlin can learn Divine Favor after he is upgraded to a prophet to get the ability to overheal, which is helpful.
