Lady of the Lake (v 2.0)

Lady of the Lake (RPG for Windows) was updated to version 2.0.  This is a major update with five major changes:

• Smaller numbers -- The main inspiration for this major update was a desire to use smaller numbers -- especially for the early game. Many weaker enemies now only have 3 HP. The HP of allies is half what it used to be. (Inns are no longer useful, but they are kept around.) Many damage and healing formulas were updated. The main attack formula is now "attack - defence" with 50% variation.
• Post-Battle Recovery -- You now heal after every battle, and regular battles tend to be more challenging.
• Save at any location -- Light pillars now give you XP because healing isn't needed. (You used to have to be at a light pillar or in town.)
• Up to 5 BP -- You can now use up to five BP for a single action. The ultimate abilities also require five BP now.
• Lower damage limit -- The starting damage limit is now 999 rather than 9,999.

On top of all that, there were several other noteworthy changes:

1. Pools of water -- Pools of water can now have random effects (because you don't need them to heal you). Sometimes the water just tastes good or bad.
2. Hit chances -- The hit chances were updated. Many hit chances for enemies were increased. Most allies now have a low hit chance, but weapons can increase the hit chance.
3. Hammers & Axes -- The critical hits from hammers and axes were mostly increased.
4. Other weapon changes -- Magic hammers and spears now increase wisdom more to help them enhance magic healing and damage. Some magic user classes can equip these weapons.
   
5. Early game armor -- Early game armor now often adds to HP rather than defence because the defence stat is very strong.
6. Stronger moves later in battle -- Enemies sometimes now use stronger abilities after a few rounds.
7. Hard difficultly update -- Many enemies can now use stronger abilities or make better choices when you use the hard difficulty, such as by using New Game Plus. The hard difficulty used to just change bosses a bit.
8. Skill tree update -- The white magic skill tree for healers was updated a little. Some other issues with other skill trees were also fixed.
9. Several smaller issues were also fixed.
